What a privilege it was for Cheshire Diamonds Ltd to support the WWW Charity Fashion Show by being part of the pop up stalls. Although it was very emotional experience knowing that all the Catwalk Kings and Queens are fighting, or have fought the battle with the big “C” it was so inspirational to see how positive and strong these guys are. I would like to thank the organisers who did a fantastic job and made the evening so much fun despite the sadness behind all those Catwalk smiles. Well done Everyone. Lots of love C&P Clayton.xxx
Here is what the organiser wrote as a summary to a fabulous event.
- Thank you to everyone who attended our first WWW fashion show last night, your support and generosity continues to overwhelm us. All of our 20 models were true stars on the night, they shone so brightly on the catwalk. One of our guests commented ‘The light, the love, the energy in that one room must have been visible from the moon’ .
We are delighted to confirm that we have raised £4,000 for the East Cheshire Hospice, we are thrilled!
We must take a moment to thank everyone that supported us and made the night a success.
Our models, all having been or still on the cancer journey. Fuzzy Goose Fashions who made the ladies look fabulous and The Yards Store who made our men Gods for the night! Tytherington High School who welcomed us with open arms – all 220 of us!!!
Steve our fabulous music and lights guy!! Nick and Adam from N Carter’s Butchers, who created the platters of cheese and pate. Peter Clayton and Mickey Jones for their steadying arms as the girls walked down the catwalk. Sarah Dale & Andrea Tomlinson for their hair creations! The gorgeous girls from the Beauty Bar for their make up skills, the team helping dress our models and the next generation of WWW girls, Annie, Katie, Megan & friends.
Most of all thank you for your continued support of our events – you make them the success they are with your ability to continually give so generously. We think we might need to make the fashion show an annual event……
